Rice Handi Hot-Pot
INGREDIENTS


  • Jazaa Economy Rice 1- ½ cups
  • Bringal (cut in small pieces) or cauliflower 1-cup 
  • Potatoes / Peas1-cup each 
  • Onions (chopped)3
  • Coriander (chopped)  / Tomatoes (ground) ½ -cup each
  • Coriander seeds (ground)1-tbsp
  • Kalonji¼- tsp
  • Salt1- ½ tsp
  • Haldi1-tsp
  • TO BE GROUNDED INTO A PASTE
  • Fresh coconut (grated)4-tbsp
  • Chilies (green)6
  • Ginger ½ -piece
  • Garlic 2-tbsp
  • Oil ½ -cup

DIRECTIONS


Fry onions light brown in handi, remove half, add paste and fry. Add tomatoes, coriander, turmeric, salt & fry. Add potatoes, peas and fry for 3 minutes after that add Jazaa Economy Rice stir and add water or stock, cover and cook until vegetables and rice get soft add remaining onions and coriander.

Serve in Handi.
