Singaporean Rice Recipe
INGREDIENTS


  • Chicken boneless (cube cut) - 1/2 kg
  • Ginger (Julian cut) - 2 tsp
  • Ketchup - 2 tsp 
  • Soy Sauce - 1 tsp
  • Orange Food 
  • Cabbage as preferred
  • Carrot - 1
  • Capsicum - 1
  • Salt - 1/2 tsp
  • Oil - 1 tsp 
  • Rice - 1/2 KG
  • Salt as to taste (or a pinch) For Sauce
  • Mayonnaise - 1/4 Cup  
  • Cream - 1/2 Cup
  • Red pepper (crushed) - 1 tsp
  • Salt - 1/4 tsp
  • Black Pepper - 1/4 tsp 
  • Ketchup - 2/3 tsp 
  • Tandoori Food Color - 1/2 tsp 

DIRECTIONS


How to cook Singaporean rice :
Chop cabbage, capsicum, carrot and onion. Chop the garlic cloves. Slit the green chilies and remove their seeds.

For Batter: Mix an egg, black pepper, salt, plain flour and corn flour. Also add baking powder in it and mix well. Marinate the chicken in the above batter. Take oil in a pan and heat it. Fry the chicken in the pan. Deep fry the green chilies. Then fry the chopped garlic, till they get golden brown.

Fry capsicum, carrot, cabbage and onion. Add fried chicken and ginger in a pan. Add 2 tsp tomatoes ketchup and 1 tsp soy sauce. Also add a pinch of orange food color. Cook it for a while. For Spaghetti: Add salt and oil in boiling water. Add spaghetti in the water and boil.

For Rice: Soak the rice for half an hour. Take water in a pan, add salt in it. Then add rice in above pan and boil them and then drain off the water.

For Sauce: Take mayonnaise in a bowl and add cream in it. Also add red pepper, salt and black pepper. Then add ketchup and tandoori food color. Take a serving rice tray and make a first layer of rice, 2nd layer of noodles and add some mayonnaise sauce on it.

In a separate pan add a little bit of oil and fry 3 to 4 green chilies(slit) and 2 Garlic cloves(chopped) and sprinkle it on the top and serve hot and enjoy the taste.
